DecoWood™ woodgrain finish on aluminium was used in many innovative and creative ways on the new Bing Lee Head Office on Woodville Road, Fairfield. The design featured a custom DecoWood™ finish on the curved ceiling at the office entrance, battons under the eves, and on screens and seating for the Chairman’s
lifestyle terrace.

 

The design requirements for the feature were three-fold. The ceiling at the main entrance had to be curved, with a soft timber look that would last. The solution was DecoWood™ as it boasts the qualities of aluminium (light, flexible, easy to install and durable), as well as being maintenance-free and naturally beautiful.

             The project demonstrates how versatile and effective DecoWood™ can be in its applications. Decorative Imaging worked with the Architect to develop the custom-made 'curly birch' effect that the project required, with stunning results.
