Movember at Decorative Imaging |
The DecoTeam has been actively participating in Movember this year, with most of our boys participating in the challenge, and most of the girls cheering from the sideline. The most popular "mo" this year is the businessman style, which curls down the side of the lips almost to the chin. Many of the boys have commented that it is a whole month in which they can get away with looking ridiculous, and support men's health at the same time. If you would like to support the DecoTeam log onto the Movember website and look for the DecoTeam: www.movember.com.au.

Liverpool Library features DecoWood |
Liverpool Library featured DecoWood curved aluminium slats in their recent renovations. The slats were used along one side of the entrance as a screen to cover the control and emergency panels from view.
The slats were finished in the smooth Bush Cherry coating before being curved into arcs with a nine metre radius. The effect was wave-like, as the concave and convex arcs were alternated.
The advanced DecoWood timber finishing technology allows pieces of aluminium to be curved after coating to a maximum of 90 degrees without the image of wood grain being distorted.
The frame was made by Nepean Engineering, and finished in Precious Silver Pearl powder coating.
Decorative Imaging Pty Ltd is the most experienced provider of a wood grain finish on aluminium in Australia.

Epping Plaza, Melbourne features DecoWood |
Epping Plaza in Victoria recently opened its Hunter & Gatherer fresh food precinct, elevating the complex to a striking construction featuring DecoWood slats to continue the natural theme.
The Plaza was designed to be more than just a fruit market, but a welcoming atmosphere in which customers are invited to slow down, enjoy a coffee and read the paper.
To compliment this vision, the architect used a DecoWood/glass combination throughout, making for a pleasant space to be in. As well as the façade, aluminium windows and doors were coated in the DecoWood wood grain finish, as well as the sizable “boomerangs” suspended from the high ceiling.
DecoWood is a durable wood grain finish on aluminium that never needs painting or staining. The finish can be coated on a range of aluminium surfaces including windows and doors, slats and screens, flat sheets and unique projects such as the Epping Plaza.
Decorative Imaging Pty Ltd are the most experienced provider of the wood grain finish in Australia.

Bushfire Alert - Timber Aluminium Windows and Doors |
Australians are all too aware of the looming threat of bushfires in summer and the potential damage it can cause to homes in bushfire designated locations.
Many local councils in bushfire prone areas prohibit the use of timber building products, which is why DecoWood is ideal for such applications.
DecoWood is a beautiful and durable wood grain finish on aluminium. It combines the look and feel of timber with the strength and fire-resistance of aluminium.
Many NSW Rural Fire Service representatives have expressed enthusiasm about DecoWood due to the many questions they receive about low fire risk building products.
DecoWood resolves issues associated with timber windows and doors such as insect and bird attack, while allowing home owners to have a finish that sits beautifully with its natural surroundings.
Best of all, it is low maintenance, never requiring painting or staining.
