DecoWood: made for the Australian Lifestyle
DecoWood™ wood grain finish on aluminium is a durable marine grade finish, perfect for the typical Australian preference to live on the coast.
DecoWood™ looks stunning and is more durable than standard powder coating when used in coastal applications.
DecoWood’s photo imaging technology has been tested under extreme exposure conditions in two of the world’s toughest locations: Venice, Italy and Miami, Florida.
The finish exceeded international standards of durability in the face of high levels of solar radiation, salt spray and pollution, making it suitable for Australian conditions.
The DecoWood™ finish has also been recommended by members of the NSW Rural Fire Service as an alternative to cedar windows and doors in bushfire designated locations where cedar building materials are not allowed to be used.

DecoWood in Restaurants, Cafes
Timber bi-fold windows and doors have long been a popular look for restaurants and cafes, creating a warm, indoor-outdoor feel to the space. However, issues of maintenance, fading and dimensional stability have hindered their longevity.
DecoWood™ wood grain finish on aluminium bi-fold windows and doors has been used effectively in restaurants in New South Wales and Victoria.
Wet Paint in Bronte, Sydney used a deep Chesnut finish for their windows and doors for a finish so effective that it got a mention in a recent food review. Being by the ocean, a marine grade finish was required, and the darker finish added to the warm feel of the restaurant.
EppingPlaza in Melbourne recently opened its food hall, Hunter and Gatherer, which also housed cafes to complete the experience. The Casuarina finish was used throughout the building, including effective bi-fold windows and doors for the cafes and fruit and vegetable stores.
Bombora Seafood Restaurant in Wollongong, New South Wales sits right on Wollongong harbour and features DecoWood™ Bush Cherry bi-fold windows that open out to pristine views of the ocean.

DecoWood: a more practical alternative to timber
Although timber windows and doors look stunning and add warmth to any room, there are many reasons why they are impractical to use.
Over time, timber will rot, twist, warp and fade and will be subject to insect and bird attack. The windows and doors will turn grey and splinter, changing the whole look to something more shabby than chic.
Furthermore, timber windows and doors are high maintenance, requiring regular painting, staining and oiling, which is time-consuming and costly.
Enter DecoWood™, a beautiful, durable and sustainable wood grain finish on aluminium that never requires painting.
Photographic images of real wood grain are absorbed into a marine grade powder coating. DecoWood™ has been tested at extreme exposure sights across the world, proving that it can withstand high levels of solar radiation, salt spray and pollution over long periods of time,
DecoWood™ offers dimensional stability, and comes with a 10 year warranty, so your windows and doors will look stunning for years to come.

Professional Signage by Decorative Imaging
Decorative Imaging recently provided aluminium signage for the MacKillopCollege in Bathurst for their renovations of the entrance to the school.
The school logo was printed onto a 2.4m x 1.2m sized powder coated aluminium sheet. The photo imaging technology used by Decorative Imaging means that a high resolution photographic image is absorbed into the powder coating, making for a more durable and graffiti-resistant sign.
The statement construction also consisted of slats, windows and doors coated in a Jarrah wood grain finish on aluminium to match the colour of the school logo.
Decorative Imaging are able to provide durable aluminium signage up to 3.6m in length and 1.6m in width with any high resolution image.
