What lengths does DecoFloor come in?

The DecoFloor profile comes in consistent, long 5.4 metre lengths for easy installation and to reduce off-cuts and wastage. (Note: allow 15mm on each end for a trim cut).

How is DecoFloor installed?

DecoFloor floorboards come with an interlocking self-mating system that clicks together and uses simple screw fixings. DecoFloor is DIY-friendly and can easily be installed with no special tools or experience necessary. To download a copy of our DecoFloor Installation Guide, click here.

Does DecoFloor require an underlay?

Yes. DecoFloor requires a suitable underlay to install. Most underlay types can be used.

What colours does DecoFloor come in?

What is the slip resistance?

DecoFloor has been tested to AS 4586, the Australian Standard for slip resistance. DecoFloor achieves a P2 slip rating when tested to this standard, which means it can be used in hospital wards and corridors, hotel kitchens, bathrooms and laundries and in common areas.

Can I use DecoFloor for other applications?

DecoFloor can also be used for other applications including walls and ceilings.

Is DecoFloor fire safe?

DecoFloor is a solid aluminium product that complies with the National Construction Code (NCC) as a non-combustible material. DecoFloor has been tested to AS 1530.1 and AS 1530.3 and is ideal for applications where non-combustible materials are required.

Can I use DecoFloor on stairs?

DecoFloor is not recommended for use on stairs, nose stair treads, ramps or pedestrian walkways.

Is DecoFloor noisy to walk on?

Many people are surprised that DecoFloor sounds similar to real timber floorboards when it is walked on. In fact, most of our customers don't even realise they are walking on aluminium! Our DecoFloor is on display in our showroom in Minto NSW, feel free to pop in and try it out for yourself.

For additional noise reduction, an acoustic underlay can also be used.

What is the warranty on DecoFloor?
