Our customer sought a durable finish for the slide of their recreational Glock 17 gun, that could withstand demanding conditions, including grease contamination, moisture, extreme heat and impact, as well as general wear and tear. The finish also needed to be attractive and stand out against the black polymer frame.

As the Glock is an extremely well-engineered weapon with fine margins on assembly, it was also important to find a finish that was not too bulky and would not interfere with the assembly or workings of the gun.
