DECO finishes have a high level of resistance to a range of chemicals. These are tabled below, along with the ambient temperature, time exposed to the chemical and the result.

Looking for a graffiti resistant finish? Our polyurethane powder coatings offer excellent resistance to common graffiti chemicals and solvents. DECO has conducted testing whereby marker pen and spray paint left for 48 hours on the coating were able to be completely removed using common graffiti cleaners and solvents with no or little effect to the powder coated sublimated finish. Please note while DECO has undertaken testing on numerous chemicals, not all products have been tested. All cleaning chemicals should be tested in a small test area prior to using on the entire surface.
