Located in a fast-developing area of Clyde, Victoria, this extravagant shopping centre comprises of a full range Coles and 19 speciality stores. The project brief was a precinct that would enhance visitor experiences and support locality growth.

The shopping centre was designed to portray a sophisticated, high-quality and highly -detailed shopping destination. DecoBatten 50 x 50 battens were specified for the dramatic form of the cantilevered entry canopy. Finished in DecoWood Casuarina, the awe-inspiring canopy welcomes and excites its visitors, creating a sense of wonderment. A durable and low maintenance finish was required to avoid ongoing painting or staining – something DecoWood could offer given its UV and marine grade powder coating finish.

Inside the mall the space is characterised by a dramatic composition of light and shadow. A unique sculptural ceiling installation featuring lightweight DecoBatten creates an illusion of floating geometries over the shopping centre.

The outcome? An outstanding design that creates a welcoming and premium shopping experience, as well as vibrant hub for the local community of Clyde.
