Capral Aluminium, one of Australia’s largest extruders and supplier of aluminium products - and DECO's long-time aluminium supplier - launched their new sustainability iniative - LocAl®.

This fantastic program is introducing a lower carbon aluminium option into the Australian market, giving manufacturers of aluminium products the opporutnity to make a cleaner, greener choice when producing their products. 

The LocAl® offer includes two lower carbon aluminium options: LocAl® Green with carbon emissions of 8kg CO2e/kg Al* and LocAl® Super Green at 4kg CO2e/kg Al* – amongst the lowest carbon aluminium available globally.

Capral's other sustainability initiatives, including a Integrated Management System, is helping them them better understand the life cycle of aluminium products, and thus help them better contribute to the circular economy.  

Aluminium is a highly recyclable material with high sustainability potential, and Capral have been efficient and effective in making the most of it as a material to provide more sustainable options for customers.
