DECO are proud to announce we achieved a finalist position in the 2021 Manufacturer’s Monthly Endeavour Awards. 

The prestigious awards ceremony, which took place on 24 March 2022, is run by popular manufacturing publication Manufacturer’s Monthly, and celebrates Australia’s most capable and innovative manufacturers.

DECO were honoured to receive a finalist position in two categories: Environmental Solution of the Year and Most Innovative Manufacturing Company Award, with our unique architectural hard anodised finish, DecoUltra™ ZD.  

An example of DECO’s ingenuity and creativity, DecoUltra™ ZD has revolutionised the construction industry by taking a finish typically used in industrial applications and applying it to architectural facades, windows and more. With high durability and corrosion resistance, as well as a sleek, contemporary metallic appearance, the hard anodised finish makes an attractive and long-lasting finish for applications in extreme weather conditions, opening up the architectural market to use anodising in places they could not have used it before. 

 This finish also continues to serve as an effective finish for a variety of applications, from CNC machining and engineering to defence and fast-moving consumer goods. One of the few ‘true’ hard anodisers in the country, DECO offers an unparalleled, tough ‘true’ hard anodised finish in DecoUltra™ ZD, which will withstand the requirements for a wealth of applications.

DecoUltra™ ZD is also an excellent example of an environmental solution. Made from aluminium oxide formed on the skin of aluminium, it is completely recyclable, reducing the  use of natural resources. It is also free from Volatile Organic Compounds  and non-combustible, ensuring no harmful chemicals or smoke are released into the atmosphere.
