The Good Design Awards are a highly prestigious Australian award celebrating the best and most innovative designs in the Australian market. Dating back to 1958, they have a long history of recognising outstanding Australian products and services. Awards are given based on the inventiveness and the environmental, commercial and social impact of the design.

DecoDeck is a Good Design Awards winner for 2020 in two categories: Product Design Hardware & Building and Engineering Design. 

DecoDeck was praised by the Product Design jury for its sustainability, non-combustibility and resistance to harsh Australian climates. “100% non-combustible aluminium is not only better from an environmental design point of view, but also a great solution for building in bushfire zones, coastal areas and for use in commercial walkways.”

The Engineering Design jury favoured the product for its ease of installation and lack of maintenance: “An innovative fixing system with an excellent installed finish and high durability. This is a nicely designed product for longline decks, replacing constant maintenance of timber decks.”
