Utilising Zero Degree hard anodising technology – typically used for industrial applications such as machine and engine parts – creates the ultimate hardwearing finish for monumental facades and buildings in areas with extreme weather conditions. DecoUltra™ ZD was specified by architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke on the new DECO Innovation Centre, whose chevron feature wall is already dazzling visitors and passers-by. By brushing the chevron panels before anodising them and offsetting them at different angles on the wall, the leading team of architects were able to create a show-stopping visual feature with a unique reflection of light that moves along the façade when viewed from different angles.
