The Dulux Colour Forecast for 2021 has been revealed! The annual release features a soothing yet rejuvenating collection of colours set to influence both industry professionals and consumers in their design choices over the next 12 months. 

The three colour palettes are cohesive and feature earth-based hues and warm neutrals, evoking a sense of comfort and security. Below we explore the Dulux powder coating colour trends for 2021. 

Retreat

The ‘Retreat’ powder coat collection is probably the most unpredictable combination of colours in the 2021 forecast, featuring forest tones and stunning special effects. Duratec Eternity Bronze Pearl and Duralloy Mangrove are both strong colours that pair well when contrasted with the softer grey hues of Surreal Effects Hammer Grey Hammer. To provide balance and calmness within the palette, Dulux have included Duralloy Blue Ridge, which features a rich blue hue. 

Nourish 

The ‘Nourish’ powder coat palette features a beautiful collection of soft, gentle neutrals that embodies the overarching theme of ‘comfort’. The natural hues of Duratec Zeus Matt Canvas Cloth make it a perfect base colour that can be paired effortlessly with the textured finish of Surreal Effects Mannex Suede. To complete this series, Dulux have added earthy colours Duralloy Rivergum Beige and Duralloy Light Grey and as a result, have created a flexible colour palette that will suit many design projects. 

Reset

The ‘Reset’ powder coat palette features a brighter and more electric mix of colours with a ’70s vibe. Duratec Intensity Flame and Duratec Intensity Desert are bold reds that really add a pop of colour to the forecast.  Contrast these colours with Electro Flat White to brighten your design and add a new kind of energy to your home or project. Also included in the collection is Duratec Elements Copper Ore, which features a stunning textured deep green finish.
