The 2022 forecast is about keeping calm and positive, featuring three exciting colour palettes comprising of earthy tones and natural textures.  

Since the pandemic started, life has not been the same, with some of us now spending more time at home than ever before. The appearance and design of our homes is now more important to us as we seek to improve the comfort and experience of everyday living. This year’s Dulux Colour Forecast incorporates a range of colours that are both inspiring and relaxing, influenced by this new way of life and the goal to provide those experiences and emotions we have been missing. Without a doubt, this year's forecast will influence consumers and the design industry in their colour choices over the next 12 months. 

Flourish

The Flourish powder coat collection is a sophisticated palette featuring a combination of deep hues and bright colours.

Dulux have paired bold colours Deep Ocean and Desert with a new vintage Fine Gold powder to bring us an intense palette that is inspired by cultures from around the world, drawing out our desires to travel again. Complimenting the range and adding a softer touch is the Mother of Pearl with its warm and neutral appearance.  

Restore

The Restore powder coat palette features a beautiful collection of soft, soothing neutrals that expresses one of the main themes for this year’s forecast - ‘calmness’. The tactile appearance of the new Duractec Elements Stone is paired beautifully with the neutral and earthy tones of Duratec Zues and Duralloy Dune. To complete this series, Dulux have added Duralloy Charcoal and as a result, have created a contemporary colour palette that will suit many design projects and no doubt be a popular choice for many consumers.

Wonder

Wonder is the cheerful and fun colour palette out of the three. The Wonder collection evokes feelings of our carefree days featuring a mix of colours with an 80s vibe. 

Nature inspired Duralloy Wilderness and Duralloy Pale Eucalypt work well with Duralloy Wedgewood to create a joyful colour palette that will add a new kind of energy to your home or project. Sleek and contemporary Duratec Whisper White is new to the Dulux range and will no doubt be a popular selection.
