Vibrant 'Restobar' in Brisbane's Everton Park stands out from the crowd amongst the dining hotspot of the city's northern suburb
Comuna Cantina, a Latin American inspired 'restobar' launched its first of three venues last year in Brisbane's Everton Park Lane food precinct. When it came to designing the venue, the restaurant had to reflect the brand's fun personality and tag line 'But First We Dance'. Lush finishes and bold fit out products that could handle the hospitality environment were a must on the project brief.
The venue boasts an external kiosk bar, kitchen and takeaway coffee window, and an interior dining space featuring a feminine-inspired colour scheme accentuated by plenty of greenery. Designed by The Retail Designers, the colourful and vibrant venue incorporates tones of pink and white paired with timber and brass accents on the windows and decor.
To achieve the desired natural timber aesthetic, The Retail Designers specified DecoWood® Qualicoat Class 2 powder coating for the window and door frames. The marine grade and UV resistant qualities make it the ultimate aluminium window and door finish, and the low-maintenance and hygienic properties of the powder coat finish meant it was the perfect solution for the high-traffic and bustling hospitality space.
The window and door frames were finished in Natural American Oak from DecoWood®'s Exotic Timber Species, perfectly complementing the venues Latin American vibe.
