Home to the Fremantle Hockey Club, this new facility features a hockey turf, 2 grass hockey fields and clubroom facilities including a function centre.

For several years, FHC had been investigating the potential to build a modern hockey club facility in a suitable location, with the necessary requirements for the development of both elite and recreational players.

It was important to create a welcoming destination for both players and visitors. The façade of the building features a remarkable wall of battens finished in DecoWood® Natural Casuarina. This application creates an exceptional display of texture and colour, complementing the natural surroundings of native plant species from Western Australia.

Low maintenance, marine-grade aluminium battens appealed to the club, as very little time is required to sustain the appearance of the façade.

Furthermore, the lightweight characteristics of DecoBatten allowed for quick and easy installation by Hybrid Linings.
