This once 1990s staircase is now a modern masterpiece, thanks to DecoBatten® breathing new life into the home of Sydney A-listers Zoe and Benji Marshall. The stylish design by Design Studio 407, transformed the staircase, which is a key centrepiece to the home's interior, using DecoBatten® 40x40mm batten profiles finished in DecoWood® Charred Timber.

The dramatic renovation removed the glass balustrades, replacing them with the vertical DecoBatten® to add a contemporary feature railing. The batten railing provides a harmonious blend of style and functionality, minus the hassle of staining, painting, or maintaining that is associated with real timber.

This strikingly bold DecoWood® Charred Timber finish was chosen to compliment the luxurious and moody colour palette used across the home's interior styling. And as a busy household with two small children, the durable and easy-to-maintain DecoWood® finish means that sticky little fingerprints are a breeze to wipe away.

This creative interior use of DecoBatten® has allowed the Marshall's to express their style and reimagine modern living.
