Set 800 metres back from the coast, the 33 apartments are all exposed to stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and enjoy expansive balconies and sun-filled rooms.
Brilliantly designed with luxury and comfort in mind, Solis incorporates cutting-edge products that not only look great but are easy to maintain and environmentally sustainable. To ensure residents enjoy all the benefits of luxury coastal living, the exterior building products specified had to withstand the coastal environment and be durable enough to uphold their immaculate appearance.
Careful consideration led to the specification of architectural building products DecoClad and DecoBatten. DecoClad solid aluminium cladding was used for the ceiling, soffit and wall lining on the two exclusive penthouse apartments. DecoClad's V-groove profile, finished in DecoWood® 'Natural Spotted Gum' offered a contemporary design aesthetic that fits Solis's coastal style, while the Qualicoat Class 2 marine grade powder coating used provided protection from sea salt spray and UV rays.
Timber-look DecoBatten was specified for the pool fence, pergola, and feature wall of the building's entrance. 200 x 50mm battens installed vertically as a fence created a striking design statement beside the pool and the timber-look pergola adds to the elegance of beachside living.
As residents and visitors enter the building they are greeted by the warmth and sophistication of DecoWood finished 50 x 50 battens applied to the ceilings and walls. All battens were selected in the same DecoWood 'Spotted Gum' finish due to its Super Durable™ qualities and low-maintenance nature.
The result? A superbly crafted set of luxury apartments that offer all the benefits of living on the Sunshine Coast. DECO's stylish timber-look products created tasteful, contemporary design features that complement its relaxed ethos and coastal style effortlessly.
