Premium bar and bistro The Peakhurst underwent a significant rebuild to transform the hospitality venue into a distinctive and contemporary destination with function spaces, sports bar, dining, and accommodation.

Designed by Bergstrom Architects and built by Rohrig Group, one of The Peakhurst's standout features is its exterior façade. Creating a unique and eye-catching first impression, the imaginative façade design was brought to life using DecoBatten® 150x50mm battens which were installed at sharp angles to create a criss-cross design.

Thanks to the hollow aluminium profiles, DecoBatten offered a light-weight option to allow for sections to be assembled on the ground and lifted into place for a quick and easy installation process.

The battens were finished in DECO's Super Durable™ DecoWood® American Oak ensuring a low maintenance solution for the large exterior as well as being able to withstand harsh environments ensuring a durable façade that will offer longevity and lower upkeep costs.
