In line with a growing understanding of the correlation between design and wellbeing, this state-of-the-art medical centre in Victoria's Lower Templestowe provides its patients with modern facilities and a place of tranquillity. The two-storey medical centre has a day hospital, therapy gym and consultation suites as well as a two-level basement carpark.
Patients are pleasantly welcomed on arrival by the clean and natural-look materials featured on the façade of the building. Custom finished aluminium flat sheets were chosen to create a contemporary yet relaxed appearance to the entrance. In addition to this, timber-look DecoBattens flow seamlessly inside the centre, enhancing the tranquil ethos of the facility.
Inside the building the vibrant battens, clean white walls and soft blue furnishings achieves a stunning contrast that evokes a feeling of wellbeing and serenity.
DecoBatten and DECO's custom flat sheets by DecoPanel offered a natural and warm aesthetic to the facility without the maintenance associated with using real timber products. The high-quality finish reflects the branding of the Victorian Specialist Centre and balances well with the leafy surrounds of the landscape.
Buchan provided master planning, architecture, interior design and brand experience services for this project, with construction undertaken by HAGTA Group.
