Frequently Asked Questions

What lengths does DecoClad come in?

DecoClad cladding profiles and extruded accessories are manufactured in 6.5 metre lengths, however due to the process of applying the beautiful timber-look (or other) finish, the usable length is 6.47m.

How is DecoClad installed?

The DecoClad system is easy to install. DecoClad boards are lightweight, interlocking and come with pre-punched holes for easy screw fixing to your framework. For more information, download a copy of the DecoClad Installation Guide.

How can I install DecoClad so it can be used in BAL FZ Flame Zone applications?

DecoClad complies with BAL FZ Flame Zone specifications when installed with a fire barrier product such as TBA Firefly underneath the cladding.

Is DecoClad waterproof?

While water will drain out of the DecoClad boards, a waterproof barrier always needs to be installed behind DecoClad to provide full protection.

Can I insulate DecoClad?

DecoClad has no insulating properties, however there are a range of insulation products on the markets offering different performance characteristics that can be used in conjunction with DecoClad.

Does DecoClad come in panels?

No, DecoClad comes in individual boards at 6.5 metres in length.

Can I use DecoClad for other applications?
